At the Moment NEFERTITI and me are discussing to install a museum for her in Berlin.
And we think, it is going to take us some time to find the right spot for it to come alive.
It requires patience and inspiration.

Wir denken, es wird noch eine kleine Weile dauern, bis wir den richtigen Ort dafür gefunden haben.

What about her Eye? / Das Auge der NOFRETETE

Und ihr Auge?!

Das berühmte Auge der NOFRETETE, was hat sie damit gemacht?!
Auch NOFTETETE ist angekommen im 21. Jahrhundert. 
Sie hat verstanden: Dies ist das Zeitalter der Schönheitsoperationen und des Botox. 
So wollte auch sie nicht länger einen Defekt zur Schau stellen und kaschiert ihr linkes Auge fortan hinter ihren blonden Locken. Zumindest in der Öffentlichkeit. 
So sieht sie noch mysteriöser aus, nicht wahr?!

And what about her eye?
NEFERTITI is well known for her left eye missing since the old days.
What happened to it in NEFERTITI'S NEW LOOK?
Well, NEFERTITI is fully aware that she has arrived in the 21st Century, the age of BOTOX and face lifting.
She is a woman of her time and decided that from now on she will hide her imperfection behind her blond curls. At least in public.
It does make her look even more mysterious, don't you think?!

Is She on Facebook?

Not yet!
I took NEFERTITI on a short trip to the countryside (as I wrote below).
We had a jolly good time and did not care much about the world. Just enjoyed being out and about.
We will set up her Facebook account this week. Big Promise!

All art is contextual

I took NEFERTITI IN HER NEW LOOK to the contryside in North Bavaria and introduced her to some old friends.
They looked at her and did not understand at all what this should all be about.
There was also a couple from the Ruhrgebiet at our table in the wine bar. They looked at NEFERTITI  IN HER NEW LOOK briefly and then, two seconds later, the husband started to talk about soccer.
The old truth, here we go again:
Art is not for everybody and all art is contextual. It is not for the masses and it needs real work to understand what it is all about.
NEFERTITI is a real star but nevertheless she requires some brainwork to be fully understood.

There will be signed copies in the FAKE und Echt Store opening in May!
The price will be different though.
